Witgat Viognier 2023

Blend: Viognier (100%)
Vinification: Grapes were pressed and left to settle overnight before being moved to 4th fill French oak barrels the next day. The wine ferments naturally in barrels and were left on the lees for 9 months. No finings or enzymes were used. Bottled in October 2023.
Tasting notes: Tantalising aromas of peach blossom, lavender, nartjie and nartjie peel followed by a fresh tropical fruit palate of peach and pineapple followed by cassia and nutmeg flavours. Pair with butter chicken curry or a citrus panna cotta.
