Tasting notes:  Rich and grounded, with earthy undertones, deep black fruit, and hints of dust and dark clay. A firm but fine-grained tannin structure gives this wine its backbone, with a soft, dusty edge that lingers on the finish.

Vinification: Grapes were 100% destemmed and punched down once a day during spontaneous fermentation. Gentle and minimal handling ensures that tannins stay soft and rounded and focus falls on the fruit. After fermentation, grapes were lightly pressed and moved to older French oak the next day. Matured in oak for 10 months and minimal SO2 added before bottling in November 2024; further bottle aging for 7 months before release in June 2025.
