Lowerland’s family recipe sourdough rusks are slow fermented, made and packed by hand on Lowerland Farm. Made from real butter, a natural sourdough culture, Lowerland’s stone ground wheat and maize flour, Lowerland pecan nuts, buttermilk and a seed mix. We tinkered with this recipe for many months to find the sweet spot between higher digestibility, less sugar, good, simple ingredients and a delicious taste profile.

Shelf life: 6 months in cool, dry, airtight conditions. Keep out of direct sunlight.

Packaging: The packaging is fully compostable. Cellulose starch bag (compostable) covered with uncoated paper sleeve (compostable and recyclable.

Application: A delicious snack to make coffee time extra special.

Ingredients: Flour, buttermilk, butter, sugar, pecan nuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, linseeds, rolled oats, dessicated coconut, water, baking powder, sea salt.

Allergens: Wheat (gluten), cow’s milk (dairy), tree nuts, sunflower seeds.
