Single cultivar wheat variety exclusive to Lowerland. Kalahari White Wheat was developed as a pasta wheat for the Northern Cape and we got hold of the last of these seeds through the grape vine. Almost lost it due to weeds and we managed to resurrect it from a hidden few bags of pure, unblended seeds found in our store.
Like the semillon of the wheat world, Kalahari White is a soft, white wheat variety that develops into silky smooth doughs with a sweet, nutty flavour profile.
Contains wheat (gluten).
All wheat is GMO free. 2024 harvest not certified organic.
